My goal is to become a medical entrepreneur specializing in mental health innovations. Currently, I am performing neuroscience through the STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) Scholar program at Drexel University. My research involves prefrontal cognitive functioning in neuropsychiatric disorders, particularly depression. Through research, I hope to create alternative solutions to treating mental health disorder. Besides research, I enjoy playing volleyball, watching cinema, and creating art.
Additionally, I work for a startup-nonprofit called Sharing Excess. Our goal is to establish donation programs that allow universities, corporations and everyday people to share their excess food with community members in need. I am also part of the Dragons First marketing and communication committee. Dragons First is an organization that helps low-income, first-generation college students achieve their academic and career aspirations through a network of students and professionals.
