Still uncertain as to what I’d like to major in, I’ve grown a strong interest in public health and how with the advancements in medicine we can promote healthier lifestyles, practice effective sanitation and access vaccines that would greatly reduce our chances of future infections and diseases. However, that isn't my one and only interest, over the course of my first year at Franklin & Marshall College I’ve become fond of the Italian language, so much that I plan on studying abroad fall of 2019. A goal of mine for the near future would be to teach English part-time in Italy, in hopes of finding a career I’d love to take on while also immersing myself into a culture and environment that’s vastly different from mine. Whatever it is that I end up majoring in, I hope it aids me in my travels around the world. I’d like to think that I’m cut out to do more than just one specific job, and in exploring different countries, I plan to help and provide assistance in any kind of way to those I meet along the way.
