My future goals are to complete my degree in Civil Engineering at Temple University by “2020,” pass various Engineering required state certificates then attain a career in Engineering, with a focus on Construction and Project Management. After approximately five years of extensive work experience, I would venture into business to create a powerful impact within our community. I would plan, design and oversee construction projects as well as design and build strong communities globally with the aspiration to make the community more beautiful, resourceful, energy efficient and productive.
Currently, at Temple, I am an Ambassador for Temple (MESA), Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement Program and member of (ASCE) American Society of Civil Engineers; (NSBE) National Society of Black Engineers; (ACE) Architecture Construction and Engineering, Alumni group and affiliated with various social organizations.
Outside of Temple University, I am currently a Summer Intern for the second year with WSP USA, an International construction engineering company and receiving hands-on experience while working on I-95 bridge construction project. I also utilized my free time by volunteering with various non-profit organizations, such as The Broad Street Ministry; Philabundance; Manna-Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance; Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission; United Way and Youth Action, PA.
Throughout the various programs and work experience mentioned above, I am innovatively, actively and passionately giving back to my community which is preparing me to attain my set future goals.
